About the project

Booking a salon appointment still means phone calls, waiting on hold, and back-and-forth messages — a frustrating experience in an era where everything else is instant. Salons, on the other hand, struggle to manage their schedules efficiently, losing clients to no-shows and double bookings. Lazee is a Bulgarian startup born to fix exactly that — an AI-powered booking app that makes finding and reserving a salon appointment as effortless as it should have always been.

Objectives

Lazee needed more than an app — it needed a brand and product experience that could make both salon owners and their customers feel like it was built specifically for them. The challenge was designing for two very different users under one cohesive identity: business owners who need smart scheduling tools, and clients who expect a personalised, frictionless booking experience. Our job was to make both feel at home from the very first screen.

Scope of Work

  • Branding & Visual Identity
  • Logo Design
  • UX Research & User Flow Mapping (specific for AI apps)
  • Competitor Analysis & Brand Personas
  • UI Design & Design System
  • Custom Illustrations
  • Interactive Prototype
  • Landing Page Design & Development

Additional Information

The Lazee identity is built on simplicity and a futuristic edge. At its core is a minimalistic logo inspired by a lazy eye — a subtle nod to the app's name and laid-back philosophy. Paired with a dark, moody palette and soft purple accents, the visual identity feels sleek and forward-looking, perfectly positioned at the intersection of tech and beauty.

Our Approach

We started with research. User interviews, competitor analysis, and persona building gave us a clear picture of who Lazee was designing for — and what was missing in the market. From there, we mapped out the two core user flows: sign-up and onboarding, and the booking experience itself. Every screen was designed with one question in mind: does this feel effortless? The design system and custom illustrations were built to carry the brand's futuristic personality consistently across the app and landing page, while the interactive prototype allowed us to test, refine, and validate before a single line of code was written.

Expert Team

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. For Lazee, that meant treating a startup's first product with the same rigour and ambition we would bring to an enterprise platform. We work as an extension of our clients' teams — hands-on, responsive, and always focused on delivering something that works as beautifully as it looks.

Result

They have a profound understanding of the needs of a startup. - Josh Yang, founder of Lazee.
